Rolls of Honour & Plaques

Numerous rolls and plaques were created following the end of World War one and Two, to commemorate the fallen from chapels, churches and businesses across the borough. These range from Merthyr Borough Police, The Merthyr Synagogue, numerous schools, Cethin Pit and the Great Western Railway among others.

I am currently in the process of locating the numerous rolls and plaques, to collate them into one area. Unfortunately a number have been 'lost' following the demolition of chapels over the years.
